We came across this beautiful pastureland one day. It was the most peaceful, quiet, serene spot we had found so far on our trip (see photo below), and we returned many times throughout the week to enjoy it. What a perfect place to plein air I thought. Little did I know, the day I chose to paint here just happened to be calf weaning day on the ranch!
