This painting was inspired by our early morning surf sessions. Even if the waves are junk, we greatly anticipate the approaching sunrise. Bobbing about in the ocean, watching the sky grow lighter and brighter...until....crack.....that tiny pinprick of light explodes through!
"Woo Hoo!" "YeeHA!" fills the air! Handfuls of water are flung high above our head so it rains down golden glitter drops upon us! We can't help but burst into song (a somewhat altered rendition of Santa Esmeralda's "Gloria", upon which this painting was named.)
And the day is... G...L...O...R...I..i..i..i..........
